It's been really busy lately getting ready for the Gladiolus Festival, Reconciliation movie and company coming from out of town.

It's just been really really busy cleaning and practicing for the gladiolus Festival. I have been practicing Lead Me To the Cross, Rattle, Holy Spirit. It's been really honoring that Brenda Jo Reutebuch and Kelly Miller have been willing to share their songs with this festival. There are not a whole lot of people that understand things that I do, so when I meet those kind of people that do understand, I cherish them. 

And then it's been really exciting waiting for my friends to come into town. I've been cleaning to kind of get ready. I've also been making plans. I'm hoping to at least drive by the Fort so they can see that, I know that Joanna has already seen it but Reese hasn't. 
MEWE has updated their platform and I really like it. It seems like it's more modern and it looks more of a page than it does an account with followers and everything. I just really, really like it.. I never did care for much of the something that they had that was like offering friendship but it was making contact. I never did see the point of it- sometimes people would just ask to connect and then that's it nothing else happened. Or you have guys are trying to flirt with me. So I ended up just really not using it at all.

I think the Reconciliation movie will be pretty good.  I've been making lots and lots of plans for it. We film for that on August 12th.

A soldier is better being protected vs. being unprotected. One thing I really enjoy is going to the gym. I love to exercise. Now, in order to get the benefits of the gym, I need to go there in person. I can read tons of books and magazines teaching about how to build muscle and tone up, and that's good for head knowledge, but for physical benefit, I have to go to the gym.  The same I believe can be applied to the Bible. This is how I feel sometimes. I talk, I write, I sing, is anyone listening? I show my exercise, do I inspire anyone? Sure, absolutely, I know I'm doing it for God and that keeps me going, but it is nice to hear back from people. Comments are very important to people who do things like me. Not emojis!  Emojis hardly convey anything. Sure, I love emojis as much as the next person, but words have SO much more meaning.  People go on and on, if you're feeling lonely or need help, reach out. What good is this if no one answers? Know what that feels like? Rejection. Yes, Christians aren't supposed to feel rejected, oh wait, I'm sorry, that's only me, I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed to express anger or hurt feelings, because the person didn't intend to do that, so, I shouldn't feel that way. I will let you in on a secret, I do feel that way sometimes, and it's ok. God accepts me just the way I am, no matter if I have BPD or not. But as this ...

do not have to report for jury duty/dragon boat races today

Tamara received a notification in the mail that she was going to have to report for jury duty. But turns out that that is not necessary anymore because the parties have decided not to have a trial. So that is good news in a way.  Today is the dragon boat race. This is something that Phil and I really enjoy. We were going to go to the opening ceremony last night, but due to the rain, it was canceled.
