 Sept. 08, 2023 was my first day at my new job. It was a training day, and so we got done a little earlier than planned.  The first thing we did was clean the women's locker room. A soldier is better being protected vs. being unprotected. One thing I really enjoy is going to the gym. I love to exercise. Now, in order to get the benefits of the gym, I need to go there in person. I can read tons of books and magazines teaching about how to build muscle and tone up, and that's good for head knowledge, but for physical benefit, I have to go to the gym.  Watch it here on YouTube The same I believe can be applied to the Bible.   When I heard the song by Jeremy Camp called Anxious Heart on the radio, it reminded me of a message I had shared a couple of years ago called Anxiety. I decided I wanted to repackage that message and share it again, but then I realized, it was not very well written.  Watch Anxious Heart on Youtube!   The woman at the well was often looked down upon. She was often ostracized by many, but not Jesus. Jesus treated her with love.   Zander wasn’t proud of being homeless. He lost his job due to a merge and hasn’t been able to find another one since. He almost had given up hope until he met Ralen.  Watch Outcast Love on Youtube! Ralen was part of a group of ladies that met every week at a coffee shop, but was different than the others. She had compassion in her heart.

Happy New Year everyone! A brand-new year. A brand-new year to start new habits. The big habit that many try to start is going to the gym. It can be hard to stick with this new habit if people don’t have a good support system.  Watch Personal Trainer on Youtube! If they don’t get encouragement from those close to them, it can be hard to keep up the motivation. This is a lot like our Christian faith.
