a new salvation plan

image Isn't it interesting that if Adam & Eve hadn't disobeyed God, there would be no need for salvation? Isn't it interesting how out of all the trees in the garden, there was only ONE that could grant eternal life? Because of the sin, a new plan had to be formed. Jesus is the ONLY one who can give us eternal life. He died on a cross so that we could live in paradise, as it was in the beginning.  Genesis 3:22-23 NLT [22] Then the Lord God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!” [23] So the Lord God banished them from the Garden of Eden, and he sent Adam out to cultivate the ground from which he had been made. Philippians 2:7 NLT [7] Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,

are you lukewarm in your faith

In Revelation 3, God warns against being lukewarm in our faith, as it is distasteful to Him. Jesus gently knocks on the door of our hearts, waiting for us to invite Him in. If we accept Him, we will share in His victory and experience a joyful transformation. Jesus loves us as we are and doesn’t force change upon us; instead, as we walk with Him, our lives naturally reflect His love. Even in our everyday activities, having Jesus makes life different and full of peace and joy. Will you answer His call and open your heart to Him?

a beacon for showing the love of the king

Image
This is the best way to show God to people. God can't be seen right now, but humans can, therefore, we have to be beacons of God's love for him. God loves everyone and that's why he died on the cross for our sins. He didn't want his precious people to be condemned, he wanted them saved.

give thanks to the lord

Psalms 105:1-2 NLT [1] Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. [2] Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. Freedom in Christ podcast This is one thing I really love doing. I love putting messages together and putting them on YouTube. I've recently joined Rumble  Freedom in Christ podcast as well, and so I have posted three videos there. I plan to post more in the future. I have a new podcast that I will be working on, but I can't work on that until I finish my movie. Today we're going to film one part of that. And so after we do that then I'll be able to work on editing. I do have big plans for my next podcast and I also have a big plan for another video that will be continuing my series called "A Passion for Jesus-though this is really not the movie it's the subseries. It is possible that instead of calling it A Passion for Jesus which is going to be the name of the mov...

a passion for jesus-the captain of your boat

Image
A Passion for Jesus -The Captain of Your Boat There can be times when it's very difficult in your boat because of what you're going through. You could be going through a rocky storm, or maybe just a small storm or maybe no storm at all, but just coasting along. Maybe no direction, no compass, no strength, no hope. But I'm inviting you to invite Jesus into your boat. Jesus will give the command if you only let him.  He will steer your ship, your boat, your canoe, whatever kind of sailing vehicle you're in. If you try to do it on your own, you might be successful, but you might also be exhausted and ego-driven. Being spiritual always has to start with God's grace. Friends, we can't do it alone. We have to be careful who we let into our boat. We have to be wary of anyone who can jeopardize our relationship with God. We could end up being influenced and maybe even capsize the boat or fall out of the boat. We need Jesus to keep us grounded in the boat.  ...

carry each other's burdens like jesus carries ours

‭Galatians 6:2 NLT‬ [2] Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Friends, we are not designed to go through life alone. As we grow from child to adult, we start learning to be independent, and that's a good thing, but we don't need to be independent from God. We need to be yoked with God so that we aren't carrying our burdens alone.  God will help you. God loves you. We can help each other grow by listening to each other and following up on each other. We can show our further fellow brothers and sisters I'm here for you. show the love of God Amen. https://youtube.com/shorts/QOodidx9TQU?si=q2YV47tr3_rFbgd1 Listen on YouTube https://tamarachaos.blogspot.com/2024/06/carry-each-others-burdens-like-jesus.html

the ark of the covenant finally has a home that is permanent

1 Chronicles 23:24-26 NLT [24] These were the descendants of Levi by clans, the leaders of their family groups, registered carefully by name. Each had to be twenty years old or older to qualify for service in the house of the Lord. [25] For David said, “The Lord, the God of Israel, has given us peace, and he will always live in Jerusalem. [26] Now the Levites will no longer need to carry the Tabernacle and its furnishings from place to place.”  https://bible.com/bible/116/1ch.23.24-26.NLT

sing praises to him

1 Chronicles 16:9-10 NLT [9] Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. [10] Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord. Yes! Boasting about God is so amazing. Does anyone have any stories to share? I'll start. God has been able to bless me with not only this ministry, but my YouTube ministry as well. My videos don't always get a lot of views, but that is ok because the channel is not mine, it's God's channel, just like pastors are not owners of their churches. It's all a learning process and I am really happy with how God has been able to help me learn how to film and edit my videos.  The ones I have shared recently I really love haha. I could never have done those on my own-only with God's help.

friends can help sharpen you

Image
Be Encouraging to Others Proverbs 27:17-20 NLT [17] As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. [18] As workers who tend a fig tree are allowed to eat the fruit, so workers who protect their employer’s interests will be rewarded. Proverbs 27:20 NLT [20] Just as Death and Destruction are never satisfied, so human desire is never satisfied. God Will Take Care Of You Friends, it is so important to be encouraging to others. We can really show the character of God when we show others love. It is always helpful to have people in your life that can teach you and maybe you can teach others. Ask God if there are any parts of your life that need to be sharpened. Please do not have an attitude of "This is what the Bible teaches so everyone, Christian or not, should follow this idea." We cannot reach others for Christ by pointing out their short comings. To do so is a very pious attitude. Psalm 24 (Still Waters)  Establish relationships when possible and then lovi...

there is no doubt that things will be fulfilled when we rely on the true saviour/a miracle of feeding more people than possible

Have you ever given a family dinner and worried if you planned enough food for the people that were going to be in attendance? This is always and ever present problem when it comes to Thanksgiving dinners. Many people worry that there won't be enough food, the table isn't set pretty enough, will there be enough chairs?  A lot of this is meaningless. What's important is family coming together. In these verses you can see that there was no worries to be needed because God had a plan in place to have enough food. Just before this in the last chapter, there was enough oil because the oil kept coming until they ran out of pots to put it in. This is why it's so important to just read the Bible on your own and just embrace all the scriptures. Going on Sunday morning is not enough. It's just not enough. One day a week is just not enough.  2 Kings 4:43-44 NLT [43] “What?” his servant exclaimed. “Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated, “Give it to the peo...

waiting on his timing

Lamentations 3:25-26 NLT‬ [25] The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. [26] So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. Friends, waiting on God is a good thing. It is challenging-but it is an opportunity for us to put our full faith in God. He's turning things around for our good. Don't lose heart. God has a plan. We don't know it yet always, but he does and he will reveal it in his time. We don't always get what we pray for because God is teaching us to wait on him, on his strength, on his timing. It may seem like things aren't moving or changing, but keep in mind that our human perspective is not the same as God's. He has a different mindset than us. Wait and be blessed. https://tamarachaos.blogspot.com/2024/06/waiting-on-god.html https://youtube.com/shorts/g7A3Wmtk8B4?si=5wSo-uJoyrh7J7IQ Listen here on YouTube

the eternal rock we can lean on

Isaiah 26:4 NLT‬ [4] Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. Friends, isn't it so comforting to know that God is the rock we can cling to when we're struggling and relax on when we have things settled? God is the cornerstone that never moves no matter how much the world changes. God will always be the same. God loves us no matter what. just like a cornerstone holds the building together, God can hold us together.  Dear Father in heaven, thank you so much for being the cornerstone in our lives. We owe you so much. Sometimes life can get so rough, but we know we can depend on you and you will bring us through it. Thank you for always being the rock we can lean on. Amen. Watch on YouTube

the threshing floor of grace

‭Ruth 2:8-9, 13-14, 17-19, 21 NLT‬ [8] Boaz went over and said to Ruth, “Listen, my daughter. Stay right here with us when you gather grain; don’t go to any other fields. Stay right behind the young women working in my field.  [9] See which part of the field they are harvesting, and then follow them. I have warned the young men not to treat you roughly. And when you are thirsty, help yourself to the water they have drawn from the well.” My Thoughts on Ruth 2 [13] “I hope I continue to please you, sir,” she replied. “You have comforted me by speaking so kindly to me, even though I am not one of your workers.”  [14] At mealtime Boaz called to her, “Come over here, and help yourself to some food. You can dip your bread in the sour wine.” So she sat with his harvesters, and Boaz gave her some roasted grain to eat. She ate all she wanted and still had some left over. [17] So Ruth gathered barley there all day, and when she beat out the grain that evening, it filled an entire basket...

do not worry-sleep in peace

Friends, don't be anxious over things you have no control over. Trust in God. Trusting in God will fill the gap between reality and what you desire. Scripture tells us to give our request to God. He wants to hear from you. He wants to hear from us. We can lie down in peace knowing that God the Creator has everything under control. Do not worry Amen! https://tamarachaos.blogspot.com/2024/06/do-not-worry-sleep-in-peace.html https://youtube.com/shorts/Slv_UqgmDTY?si=bk7RbuNpyjY-m0wq Psalms 4:8 ‭Psalms 4:8 NLT‬ [8] In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

don't let the world influence you

Verse of the Day 3 John 1:11 NLT Dear friend, don't let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God's children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God. What have we planted? 3 John 1:11  Plant yourself in the Word so that you can stand strong against the temptation of the world.  Friends, it's so important to stay connected to the gospel and God. When we root ourselves in the Word we become stronger and stronger and we can face anything. When we plant ourselves in the Word, then we can be nurtured and grow strong like a tree. when we plant apple seeds, we expect an apple tree to come up. What are you planting? Ephesians 1:7 NLT He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

how big was the boat that noah had to build? How many animals came with them?

‭Genesis 6:14-16 NLT‬ [14] “Build a large boat from cypress wood and waterproof it with tar, inside and out. Then construct decks and stalls throughout its interior. [15] Make the boat 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. [16] Leave an 18-inch opening below the roof all the way around the boat. Put the door on the side, and build three decks inside the boat—lower, middle, and upper. ‭Genesis 6:19-21 NLT‬ [19] Bring a pair of every kind of animal—a male and a female—into the boat with you to keep them alive during the flood. [20] Pairs of every kind of bird, and every kind of animal, and every kind of small animal that scurries along the ground, will come to you to be kept alive. [21] And be sure to take on board enough food for your family and for all the animals.” ‭Genesis 6:20-21 NLT‬ [20] Pairs of every kind of bird, and every kind of animal, and every kind of small animal that scurries along the ground, will come to you to be kept alive. [21] And take thou unto thee of a...

the sun stood still

‭Joshua 10:12-14 NLT‬ [12] On the day the Lord gave the Israelites victory over the Amorites, Joshua prayed to the Lord in front of all the people of Israel. He said, “Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon.”  https://tamarachaos.blogspot.com/2024/05/the-sun-stood-still.html [13] So the sun stood still and the moon stayed in place until the nation of Israel had defeated its enemies. Is this event not recorded in The Book of Jashar? The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and it did not set as on a normal day.  [14] There has never been a day like this one before or since, when the Lord answered such a prayer. Surely the Lord fought for Israel that day! If You're Feeling Discouraged ‭2 Corinthians 5:15 NLT‬ [15] He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. ‭Psalms 42:11 NLT‬ [11] Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so ...

the ultimate comforter

‭2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NLT‬ [3] All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. [4] He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.  God is love. God is all about love. That's why he sent his Spirit to comfort us while he is away preparing a place for us. God loves us so much. We can turn to food or TV to comfort us but it's never going to be the same as the comforting of Jesus.  God is all about love  .  When Jesus wanted to approach someone to correct them he didn't chastise them-he asked them questions. This led to a conversation. Think about the woman at the well. He didn't criticize her because she had been married several times, he just asked about her husband. He knew all about her but he didn't criticize her. And in the end she told everyone about Him. If you think about it, when you go to a...

be strong and courageous, the Lord is with you

‭Joshua 1:9 NLT‬ [9] This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” https://bible.com/bible/116/jos.1.9.NLT ‭Joshua 1:18 NLT‬ [18] Anyone who rebels against your orders and does not obey your words and everything you command will be put to death. So be strong and courageous!” https://bible.com/bible/116/jos.1.18.NLT ‭Hebrews 10:26-27 NLT‬ [26] Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. [27] There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. https://bible.com/bible/116/heb.10.26-27.NLT ‭Hebrews 10:29 NLT‬ [29] Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained th...

they crossed the jordan on dry land

‭Joshua 3:14-16 NLT‬ [14] So the people left their camp to cross the Jordan, and the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of them. [15] It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge, [16] the water above that point began backing up a great distance away at a town called Adam, which is near Zarethan. And the water below that point flowed on to the Dead Sea until the riverbed was dry. Then all the people crossed over near the town of Jericho. ‭Joshua 3:17 NLT‬ [17] Meanwhile, the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by. They waited there until the whole nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan on dry ground. Wow, so here is a second account of the water being dried up so that people can cross and then probably returning to its original state.  ‭Jo...
