A Riverboat, Musket and Cannon

We had a nice visit to Missouri.. We feel like everything worked out so well not only as far as the visit, but even our videos that we had planned. We went to the bridge so that we could record a side that didn't have any murals on it, and we happen to be there when the riverboat came in. According to Google, which we didn't check until later, it was supposed to arrive at noon and we were there at 9 am. I wanted to get there early because the humidity is so bad right now.

And then another fortuitous moment was going to the trail and recording and seeing a wild deer. A lot of this footage will be in an upcoming video that will be talking about 2 Corinthians 5:18. It's talking about the gift of salvation, but what I'm really going to focus on is the word reconciliation. That doesn't seem to be a commonly used word these days. Salvation is a free gift from the Lord so that we no longer have to face the death penalty for our sins because Jesus took the penalty away from us. Sin makes a wall between us and God, but because of God's grace, that wall will be destroyed forever.

And that's not at all. Another main event was a civil war reinactment. Hang on, allergies are acting up. Ok, so another great thing about this trip is that we got to see a musket firing and a cannon firing. That will be a separate video. I will include what is called Fort D in the next video, in which I will be talking about uniforms we wear as Christians.

And, we also saw the Budweiser horse and 18 wheeler.
I went to the gym:
We had a hard time finding a coffee shop that was open on a Monday. We ended up trying a place called Scooters. We have this at home, but I've never tried it. I thought it was pretty good.
