I tried this bratwurst for lunch today for the first time. I thought it was good. It really did taste like regular bratwurst. I wrapped it in one piece of banana swirl bread. I tried it first with ketchup and without ketchup. So let's see. I've posted the church video. I can't do anything for episode 1 until I preach tomorrow. I've made quite a few posts to my blog and Reddit, and I put the links on mewe. For real tho, I don't know why I bother with MEWE. I thought their new format would help me grow, but it's the same thing, just like Threads. I, like a lot of people, I guess, were just checking it out because it's new. It's the same thing, I just don't know if it's left brained people that command the Internet, but it is just not my forte. 😅 so that's why I'm trying to just focus on what I want to say. I seasoned the pork chops with seasoned salt, cayenne pepper, maybe cumin,  cilantro, Italian seasoning, maybe garlic, and black pepper. We then cooked them in a pan. I made the couscous according to the directions on the box. It turned out nice and fluffy.  The blueberry muffin loaf is a package put together by a company called "Kodiak." It a mug muffin mix meaning it only makes one muffin and one can do it in the microwave. But we don't have a microwave, so I use the air fryer. I have a little baking dish and it works really well. So far we've really focused on practicing the songs that we have chosen to practice. 3 of them covers and one original.  Then we watched this video.  How to sing like a rock star Now we're watching Little Einsteins and I'm taking notes.  Be pianississmo, I'm hunting wabbits. 

It's been a long time since Tamara has had the opportunity to babysit. Baby is a little over a year. Cute as a button. Loves books and toys. She's been having a good time eating Cheerios and drinking water. I read her one story so far.  After lunch I laid her down for a nap. 

Day 3-August 23rd, but I didn't get a chance to make a post about it.. We really focused on the note values. We had several exercises that we did to help us learn the note values. I made a few graphics to help me.  I'm really starting to comprehend how music works on a stave.

Then we had an intense singing practice session. We sang 1 song 3 times, another song 3 times and the last one once. Then we had a snack.  Now it's over for today. 

I decided to try a new drink at the Light House Coffee Bar. It's quite different than what I've had in the past.  It's definitely very strong. If you like a bitter coffee, ☕ this is a good choice for you. I liked it because it was strong. 😅

I've been learning a lot about music theory.  1. Rhythm and Tempo  2. Pitch 3. Timbre 4. Loudness 5. Melody  6. Chords and Chord Progressions 7. Texture  8. Form, Shape and Structure Here are a few notes I took.  I'm really curious about Rhythm and Tempo. They said rhythm refers to anything in music that has to do with time and duration. Every sound and every moment of silence in music must be heard for a specific amount of time, and that is part of rhythm.  All of it has to be played at a certain speed which is called tempo.
