Blogger is still the number one social media site for Tamara Chaos
It seems like there is no purpose to a lot of social media. It's really like having a blog because one can make a post and there isn't always a whole lot of interaction with it. So I think it's better to have a quiet platform to post on- besides the fact of right now at least there are no ads. I feel like I have more freedom here. But for the most part I am pretty satisfied with my YouTube presence. I think that would be second the platform that I love.
Now one thing I really love is Avakin Life. There are so many fun things to do on there and so many fun people to meet. So the times that I can get on I really enjoy. It's been a while now since I've whittled down my social medias.
I've deleted accounts on multiple different platforms. I feel like I'm preparing for the future. I don't want something to happen nefarious because I was not using a platform and not watching it. Some people think nothing's going to happen if they don't use their social media, but really its better to delete your account if you're not going to use it. This especially comes into play with Facebook. One thing I don't like about Instagram is that in order for anybody to see your post you have to use hashtags and then people just use the hashtags to tell you to post to whatever network because they want to promote you or whatever which is really just a lie they just want your information.
I get so sick and tired of that. I also get so sick and tired of Google photos backing up Instagram photos that I post. I had a life for many years without social media and I did just fine. So social media for me is a basis of promoting the gospel and that's about it. I focus on my music and videos. I mean really there aren't a lot of people that are going to care about my everyday life. And that's okay really because the people that do care are right here in person.
