meWe is integrating to Block chain technology.. click link for more info
MeWe announced that they would be changing their platform to be a social network that uses multiple computers versus a single server to run their app. It's called blockchain. It's using biometrics and so a password will no longer be required to log in. Not from what I've read on biometrics, it tracks behaviors to figure out who you are. There are several articles that I will post that explain this much better than I ever could. It's really to start connecting more with bitcurrency.
It is more than likely that they will be using biometrics to log us in. This is the definition that I found on dictionary.com.

Web3 is being touted as the future of the internet. The vision for this new, blockchain-based web includes cryptocurrencies, NFTs, DAOs, decentralized finance, and more. It offers a read/write/own version of the web, in which users have a financial stake in and more control over the web communities they belong to. Web3 promises to transform the experience of being online as dramatically as PCs and smartphones did. It is not, however, without risk. Some companies have entered the space only to face a backlash over the environmental impact and financial speculation (and potential for fraud) that comes with Web3 projects. And while blockchain is offered as a solution to privacy, centralization, and financial exclusion concerns, it has created new versions of many of these problems. Companies need to consider both the risks and the benefits before diving in.
What Are Decentralized Applications (dApps)?
Decentralized applications, or dApps, are software programs that run on a blockchain or peer-to-peer (P2P) network of computers instead of on a single computer. DApps (also called "dapps") are thus outside the purview and control of a single authority.
DApps are often built on the Ethereum platform. They have been developed for a variety of purposes including gaming, finance, and social media.
The more I keep reading about this kind of thing, I do believe that it's more than likely I will be deleting my account on MeWe. It has been read that new users will have to do this kind but the people that have been on for a while will have the choice to migrate. It's a little bit disturbing because it seems like they're going to be wanting to use more personal information than any other app, plus I'm not paying Bitcoin to use an app.
