Tea and Everyday Life
Preface:
I have always wanted to write a blog where I am telling a story. I did do it once, but I want to do it different now. I started reading Death by Darjeeling by Laura Childs and I was inspired to start. I will eventually start a new blog with the story unfolding, but I don't have a name yet. Who knows, maybe "Tea and Everyday Life will be the title.
I have started reading this book like I said, but I have been listening to it. It is so hard to just read now because my ears ring and it is something I have done for so long that I like hearing someone's voice talk to me. But auditory learning has always been a difficult thing for me. I want to get better.
Chapter One:
It is a beautiful day in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Elizabeth and Phil Chai started their day relaxing, since it was Saturday, then started their normal activities such as grocery shopping. However, today led to a couple of unusual activities added to the day. Since Phil's birthday is in on Tuesday, they stopped by Light House Coffee Bar to get Phil a butter popcorn frappe. Then they got groceries.
Before returning home to put their groceries in their respected places, they stopped by Mcdonald's for lunch.
In the afternoon, they went to a baby shower and now tonight they will attend a different baby's dedication at One Hope Church.
Death by Darjeeling called to Elizabeth with an addictive, attractive sound and this made Elizabeth succumb. As Elizabeth was reading, she suddenly had a strong urge to make a cup of peach tea. The Keurig finished it's performance with a loud pccccaaaa sound then breathed a sigh of relief as the water finished releasing. The tea was ready.
