don't act your age

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:1‭-‬2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[1] About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” [2] Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them.
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[3] Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. [4] So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I think one advantage kids have over adults is that they have a inexperienced life. As adults, we have experienced so much more pain, disbelief and disappointment than kids have. Because of this, we require more proof than kids do before we believe.

Jesus wants us to believe by faith only. Over time, proof will be revealed to us.
Jesus in the scriptures following encourages those who are more experienced to guide new believers. It's not necessarily adults guiding kids.. Yes, it's more common for adults to be experienced Christians, but it's not only the case.

We as experienced Christians have a great responsibility to make sure people who have just accepted Christ don't fall into trouble. Mentor them. Teach them. Keep them on them right path.
