Matthew‬ ‭11:16‭-‬19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

[16] “To what can I compare this generation? It is like children playing a game in the public square. They complain to their friends, [17] ‘We played wedding songs, and you didn’t dance, so we played funeral songs, and you didn’t mourn.’ [18] For John didn’t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’

[19] The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”
[
28] Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Yes, among humans, it is always going to be hard to measure up. Non-believers will always look for something to point out that you are doing wrong, but stay strong and stay committed. The truth will always stand firm.
But as you can see from the text, God knows, he knows, knows knows that is going to be very difficult for you and that is why he will send angels to help. Be strong in the Lord. Stay true to the Lord. Keep yourself as far away from misconception as possible! I had a teacher once who refused to eat lollipops in the car after she was accused of smoking. This is exactly what some people do, so be careful.

People will always try to use the Bible to prove you are doing something wrong. Be careful, because in some circumstances, they could be correct. Haha!

The same thing happened to Job.. Everyone, including his dearest friends that sat on the ground with him while he mourned the death of his 10 children, tried to blame him, claiming he did something wrong, but he didn't. Job was blameless.. Some pastors claim that Job's sin was fear. This is also incorrect. Job persevered despite his accusations and pleased God, much to the displeasure of Satan. I wonder if that happens to us sometimes. I wonder if sometimes we just don't know why we have to go through hard times. Job certainly didn't know that there was a dispute between Satan and God. We have to go through hard times, but it does give God a chance to shine!
