the father is preparing room for us

[2] There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? [3] When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. [4] And you know the way to where I am going.”


Jesus knows that guests will be arriving when the time is right, and so he is cleaning house and preparing everything for their arrival. I think the more we see the current earth being destroyed, we will start to see a new earth revealed-which begs the question, it says that a new heaven will be revealed as well.

[1] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[17] “Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.

‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[13] But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness.

[31] Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:33‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[33] Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[35] Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

It looks like the old heaven will be destroyed as well, what do you think? 

Heaven and earth must be connected. Isn't it amazing how 3 verses are exactly the same?

A soldier is better being protected vs. being unprotected. One thing I really enjoy is going to the gym. I love to exercise. Now, in order to get the benefits of the gym, I need to go there in person. I can read tons of books and magazines teaching about how to build muscle and tone up, and that's good for head knowledge, but for physical benefit, I have to go to the gym.  The same I believe can be applied to the Bible. persevere in the purpose God has given you

This is how I feel sometimes. I talk, I write, I sing, is anyone listening? I show my exercise, do I inspire anyone? Sure, absolutely, I know I'm doing it for God and that keeps me going, but it is nice to hear back from people. Comments are very important to people who do things like me. Not emojis!  Emojis hardly convey anything. Sure, I love emojis as much as the next person, but words have SO much more meaning.  People go on and on, if you're feeling lonely or need help, reach out. What good is this if no one answers? Know what that feels like? Rejection. Yes, Christians aren't supposed to feel rejected, oh wait, I'm sorry, that's only me, I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed to express anger or hurt feelings, because the person didn't intend to do that, so, I shouldn't feel that way. I will let you in on a secret, I do feel that way sometimes, and it's ok. God accepts me just the way I am, no matter if I have BPD or not. But as this ...

do not have to report for jury duty/dragon boat races today

Tamara received a notification in the mail that she was going to have to report for jury duty. But turns out that that is not necessary anymore because the parties have decided not to have a trial. So that is good news in a way.  Today is the dragon boat race. This is something that Phil and I really enjoy. We were going to go to the opening ceremony last night, but due to the rain, it was canceled.
