how i met my husband on second life

 I originally had this article on Medium, but I deleted my account on there. I should have saved this article before I did that, but I did not, so I will have re-write it. 


Let's reverse the clock to 2007-2008ish. I started playing an online platform called Second Life in 2006. It was really fun and I met a lot of amazing people over the years. This was my avatar towards my time of spending less on the app. 





There was a place on Second Life called Truth and I would frequently hang out there. Most of the time, I would just keep to myself, but there were rare occasions that I would meet someone and we would have a lovely conversation. Otherwise, most of the friends I made were on other servers. Anyway, there came a time where Phil had to make an avatar and he called him Thaddeus Trenchcoat. He saw me sitting there and started up a conversation with me. We really got along well and we started dating. 

We were both divorced at the time. 


It was God ordained love for sure. We both knew that we had met the person we wanted to be with for the rest of our lives. He came to my hometown and we attended a newsboys concert together. It is now 2024 and we are still married. I know on the app Medium, I had a lot more to say about this, but I will have to see if things come to my mind. I am going to save this version on WORD.

A soldier is better being protected vs. being unprotected. One thing I really enjoy is going to the gym. I love to exercise. Now, in order to get the benefits of the gym, I need to go there in person. I can read tons of books and magazines teaching about how to build muscle and tone up, and that's good for head knowledge, but for physical benefit, I have to go to the gym.  The same I believe can be applied to the Bible. This is how I feel sometimes. I talk, I write, I sing, is anyone listening? I show my exercise, do I inspire anyone? Sure, absolutely, I know I'm doing it for God and that keeps me going, but it is nice to hear back from people. Comments are very important to people who do things like me. Not emojis!  Emojis hardly convey anything. Sure, I love emojis as much as the next person, but words have SO much more meaning.  People go on and on, if you're feeling lonely or need help, reach out. What good is this if no one answers? Know what that feels like? Rejection. Yes, Christians aren't supposed to feel rejected, oh wait, I'm sorry, that's only me, I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed to express anger or hurt feelings, because the person didn't intend to do that, so, I shouldn't feel that way. I will let you in on a secret, I do feel that way sometimes, and it's ok. God accepts me just the way I am, no matter if I have BPD or not. But as this ...

do not have to report for jury duty/dragon boat races today

Tamara received a notification in the mail that she was going to have to report for jury duty. But turns out that that is not necessary anymore because the parties have decided not to have a trial. So that is good news in a way.  Today is the dragon boat race. This is something that Phil and I really enjoy. We were going to go to the opening ceremony last night, but due to the rain, it was canceled.
