jesus does not get his power from satan

'Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart. And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive. And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said. But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you. For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house. '

This is why it's so important for a church to stay bonded together around the scriptures. The minute they start taking Jesus out of the church and focusing on human effort, is when the church will crumble. The world and church cannot work together. Oil and water do not mix. Jesus is not of this world. Jesus' kingdom is far greater than anything here on earth. We were designed for a better kingdom. Jesus is preparing everything. He is preparing for the day he comes to pick us up and bring us home. 

Today is voting day. Lately, there has been unending ads about who we should vote for. There has been lots of turmoil between different countries. Ukraine is fighting with Russia. Israel is fighting with Iran. Hamas is trying to take over land that was given to Israel. There have been a lot of shootings lately-not only more than usual, but in areas Phil and I were just in the day before! 

It's a crazy world we live in and so that's why I like to leave the world outside and embrace the solace of God's love. My house is a fortress. Everything we do is centered around Jesus. We go out into the world and do the things we need to do, but then we come back home to our shelter. 

On the radio yesterday, I caught the middle of what the DJ was talking about. He said there was a guy in China that was always arrested for telling people about Jesus. One day, one of the men that would beat him came to his door and he was so scared to open the door, but he did. The man asked him if he could tell him about Jesus. That's how important and powerful Jesus is. That is how we're supposed to be. We are supposed to be so on fire for Jesus that people want to know more about him. That's what the woman at the well did. She met Jesus and that was it, she wanted to tell the world.

Nestled deep in the Acacia Woods is a cave taken over by a Christian group called Positive Light. They are a pro-Christian group that is dedicated to spreading the gospel. Zayna stumbled upon this cave and ran off with a journal that Positive Light stole from a rebel group called the Opal Syndicate. The Opal Syndicate stole it because they didn't want anything to do with the Bible spreading around and sending a message of peace, love and compassion to their people.
