no need to report for jury duty

I thought I was going to have to report for jury duty, but I checked the website and I don't. 
Today was a little rough. I went to the eye doctor and they dilated my eyes. Normally, I'm not affected at all by the end of the appointment, but that was not the case today. It was hard to see in the car so I had to wear the sunglasses, and then when I was at work it seems like I felt a little ill. But it did get better after a while. So my phone has been going on the brink. My battery hardly lasted all, which is what happened to my other phone. This one has lasted a while. I'm not one that replaces phones when the new one comes out, there's always a reason. My screen is cracked and it's hard to see which is probably what is causing some of these problems, and I also have problems with the volume. So I am testing Phil's phone to see if this is the kind that I would want. So far I am really liking it. It seems to have a fast processor, of course I don't know if that's because I haven't really installed very many apps yet, but when I launched blogger it was very quick. I put Avakin Life on here. I did have to update the password but that's okay. The real test will be if I can get Google to work without having to push the button. In the past my phone has responded when I was saying hey Google, but then it stopped. So if I could have that back that would be very exciting. Right now I'm using voice to text which works pretty good too. 
So anyway I can't wait for my new glasses to arrive because I have been wearing an old pair, and I can see pretty good but it'll be so much better to have my new glasses. I did not get the sunglass part on it because I do not like it. And the person that I talk to that helped me at the eyeglass place, he said that a lot of people have the same complaint. It seems like the microphone of this phone is picking me up pretty good. This is so much better than it has been in the past. My other phone is not bad, I remember the days when it could not pick up what I was saying at all. How much we have improved in technology and I almost didn't notice. I guess that's all for now. I will see you later.

A soldier is better being protected vs. being unprotected. One thing I really enjoy is going to the gym. I love to exercise. Now, in order to get the benefits of the gym, I need to go there in person. I can read tons of books and magazines teaching about how to build muscle and tone up, and that's good for head knowledge, but for physical benefit, I have to go to the gym.  The same I believe can be applied to the Bible. This is how I feel sometimes. I talk, I write, I sing, is anyone listening? I show my exercise, do I inspire anyone? Sure, absolutely, I know I'm doing it for God and that keeps me going, but it is nice to hear back from people. Comments are very important to people who do things like me. Not emojis!  Emojis hardly convey anything. Sure, I love emojis as much as the next person, but words have SO much more meaning.  People go on and on, if you're feeling lonely or need help, reach out. What good is this if no one answers? Know what that feels like? Rejection. Yes, Christians aren't supposed to feel rejected, oh wait, I'm sorry, that's only me, I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed to express anger or hurt feelings, because the person didn't intend to do that, so, I shouldn't feel that way.
