missouri and minnesota trip

Nov. 21st through Dec. 2nd, we took a trip to Missouri and Minnesota. Missouri to visit Phil's daughter and Minnesota to visit my parents. We had a very nice time. 
My dad's church, Moravian, celebrated 150 years and so they had a lovely service with many participants and dinner after, however, Phil and I met up with friends in Rochester for dinner. We met at Pasquale's Pizza place. My mom's church, Methodist, had a lovely Christmas themed service. I posted pictures and videos on YouTube and Instagram. 

I did start a new YouTube channel, and so I might start a new blog as well. I'll set it up on the computer because it's easier. To keep me from getting overwhelmed, I'll probably stop posting to other sites and just let them fester, unless I suddenly get an opportunity and want to post there. That reminds me that I wanted to delete my Avakin Life Fashion Contests blog. The name of the new YouTube channel is Minister Elizabeth. I feel like the time is right. I have polished my messages enough that I think this can work. But of course, I will still post to my regular YouTube channel. That's my post whatever I want channel. I just really want to start from scratch. I don't know if I will do shorts or not on that channel. 


I don't know how many people really read blogs anymore. I think they do if the subject is something they are interested in. I see today is very sunny. I'm glad most of my plans are going to be indoors.

A soldier is better being protected vs. being unprotected. One thing I really enjoy is going to the gym. I love to exercise. Now, in order to get the benefits of the gym, I need to go there in person. I can read tons of books and magazines teaching about how to build muscle and tone up, and that's good for head knowledge, but for physical benefit, I have to go to the gym.  The same I believe can be applied to the Bible. persevere in the purpose God has given you

This is how I feel sometimes. I talk, I write, I sing, is anyone listening? I show my exercise, do I inspire anyone? Sure, absolutely, I know I'm doing it for God and that keeps me going, but it is nice to hear back from people. Comments are very important to people who do things like me. Not emojis!  Emojis hardly convey anything. Sure, I love emojis as much as the next person, but words have SO much more meaning.  People go on and on, if you're feeling lonely or need help, reach out. What good is this if no one answers? Know what that feels like? Rejection. Yes, Christians aren't supposed to feel rejected, oh wait, I'm sorry, that's only me, I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed to express anger or hurt feelings, because the person didn't intend to do that, so, I shouldn't feel that way. I will let you in on a secret, I do feel that way sometimes, and it's ok. God accepts me just the way I am, no matter if I have BPD or not. But as this ...

do not have to report for jury duty/dragon boat races today

Tamara received a notification in the mail that she was going to have to report for jury duty. But turns out that that is not necessary anymore because the parties have decided not to have a trial. So that is good news in a way.  Today is the dragon boat race. This is something that Phil and I really enjoy. We were going to go to the opening ceremony last night, but due to the rain, it was canceled.
