Day 11 MN Highlights

Image
Today we start our journey home. It was a nice visit that we had and I'm looking forward to the next visit. I made a separate blog for the Avakin Life Fashion Contests because I just decided that I didn't want them on here anymore. You can find it here:  Avakin Life Fashion Contests I just love how I can change my avatar.  We stopped at McDonald's in Baraboo, Wisconsin. I got a fish sandwich and my free birthday Blueberry muffin.  This week coming up, we will start filming "Chains Will Be Broken." It's also Holy Week, so, there will be lots of things going on this week at church. I'll keep you posted.

Day 10 MN Highlights-Their Hosanna cries turned to Crucify Him cries

Church. First we attended the Moravian church and then we attended the Methodist church. It was nice. At the Moravian church, the speaker talked about an experience she had with an elderly man she would often visit. Here are some notes I took.  She said the elderly man talked about how he and his wife would attend church regularly. He doesn't remember any sermons that were said, but he does remember the mom making sure the kids behaved. He said he would give anything for another Sunday worship time with her. (She had passed a while ago before this.) He said at church it felt like family. Family in the Lord's house. People have all kinds of excuses not to attend church. Jesus is the strong foundation.  Then the Methodist church:  Imagine the day Jesus rode into town on his donkey. The sun is hot and blazing down. Jesus was coming to obey God's command to sacrifice Himself for our sins. The people are shouting Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna in the Highest. Soft at first then get...

I've been listening to the radio on my phone, which I forgot I had. What a neat app. I can record and everything if I want to.  We spent a lot of time at Walmart today. Now we're waiting for my Dad to come out from his doctor appointment.  We're supposed to get winter weather tomorrow, so it's a good thing his appointment is today. I thought the latte was good, the sandwich was okay and the soup was really spicy.

Day 3 MN Highlights-Friends, Chinese food

This morning was nice. We met up with friends we haven't seen in a long time. We went to a Chinese restaurant after we visited them at their house.  We were going to go a restaurant called "Tammy's", but it was way too busy and we didn't have a whole lot of time. This place was ok. I loved the tea and egg roll, but I didn't care much for the rest of it. The soup was better than the entree.  Then after that, we went to watch my parents square dance. I took a video, which made the caller very nervous and even had an issue with it, but relented.

Several rooms of the Country Inn are haunted. Tv turns on by itself and drawers open on their own.  The good news is though, a Bible can be found in a different drawer, unlike Beach Cove in Myrtle Beach.
