It's time for a sweet Lavender Latte at the Light House Coffee Bar located in the Catalyst gym.  Spring is here even tho the temperature outside tells a different story.  Its 43 degrees F outside today with a drizzle here and there. I was at the gym and then when I went out to my car it started to sprinkle a tad. Chains Will be Broken is all complete. Here is a trailer:  Chains Will Be Broken trailer I've been burning DVDs of it. When I went this morning to check on one of them, I saw this.  Silly kitty. So other than burning DVDs, I'll be working on other videos in between. Stay tuned. The Woman at the Well-A Voice for the Marginalized, In Christ Alone Performance is ready, and there is a song I'm working on. It will be published depending on results.

She was a Samaritan woman. Jesus asks her for a drink.  Since Jesus was a Jew and age was Samaritan, this was a really big deal.

There are some things I like about social media, but for the most part I don't like social media. It seems like it's so busy that people miss a lot of things, or they are too busy to really engage with people. That's why on Facebook they made the quick drive by (scroll by) like button. But then they added emotions that you can use because "like" isn't always appropriate. People don't engage with each other anymore. Instagram has a quick double tap feature to make it even easier to drive by show appreciation for posts. My posts get about an average of 1 (mine) to 4 likes. Woohoo!  I really love blogger. I wouldn't mind making this my only social media platform. (I get about the same amount of engagement as other platforms.) I really like the format of making posts in it. It looks like other platforms when I'm scrolling through my posts.  I've never really had the ability to relate to the general public. I've been on Twitter since...

On Saturday, April 15th, Phil and I had a wonderful time filming a scene for the upcoming video about the woman at the well.  It is such an amazing story.  The woman was unlikely to be used by God, but sure enough she was.  She was there at the well at just the right time because it was pre-planned by God.  Living water from God will never run out. 

Even though the warmer temperatures will only be around for a short time, it's nice to get in some rides.  Riding bike is good for thinking and prompting creativity.  And while we're at it... Let's take our coffee break on the road. 

As far as text messages go, I myself have always considered them the same as in person conversations, but evidently, I am quite alone in my thinking. Now, I am not so insecure that I expect people to respond to my texts within a minute or two, but a week or two later is a little odd to me. If I walked up to someone in person and they said something to me, would I respond back in person a week later? But this is society now. If they don't understand the text, rather than asking for clarification, they just ignore it. I think they think since they are not in your presence, they can get away with things a lot more than they can in person. It is especially prevelant on Facebook, because people can just click "like" and go on their merry way, choosing to not engage. Society has become rather introverted. I am an introvert myself, but I also deeply care about others. I remember when I worked at Target in Durham, NC, often people would want to come to my lane and they comment...

This drink is so good. It's called flavored latte. This one is flavored with dark chocolate and vanilla syrup.  This really is the best coffee shop in town. It's so nice to visit a place where the owner always remembers who you are and serves delicious coffee drinks. 

Bricklayers and Allied Crafts Local 4 are pro union and when they see a project going on by a non union company, they protest. 

I went out to feed the birds this morning and I noticed a whole bunch of hair in the feeding hole of this bird feeder. I don't think I've seen this before.

It was a blast filming 8 scenes in two days. Here are some pictures from the shoot.. more to come later. 

After many months of waiting filming has begun! We filmed the inside scenes.  Today, April 8th, 2023, we will be filming the outside scenes. 

It's Dark Mocha time at the Light House Coffee Bar, located inside Catalyst gym.  This drink is called Cafe Mocha. One can choose regular chocolate, dark chocolate or white chocolate. I chose dark chocolate. It is one of the best drinks here I think- this and the Dude.
