do not have to report for jury duty/dragon boat races today
Tamara received a notification in the mail that she was going to have to report for jury duty. But turns out that that is not necessary anymore because the parties have decided not to have a trial. So that is good news in a way.

Today is the dragon boat race. This is something that Phil and I really enjoy. We were going to go to the opening ceremony last night, but due to the rain, it was canceled. There is another ceremony this morning before the dragon boat races commence.

According to the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation, Dragon Boat Racing is a sport meant to combine Chinese tradition with competition, team building and fun. Dragon Boats are 46 feet long, have 20 paddlers, 1 drummer, and 1 steersman and are decorated with bright colors, dragon scales and a dragon head and tail.
It seems like last year it was canceled altogether- so it'll be really, really fun to see it again. Afterwards and we get lunch, We might go look at travel trailers. This is something that we want to get in the future. Also I do want to film more fishing videos, but it might be too wet to do it today, and we might be too busy, but who knows. It also depends on the humidity level. I'm not in too much of a hurry, but it definitely has to be before Fall.
I also want to get out the Christmas decorations and start decorating. I know to most people is ridiculous to start putting it out in August, but I am telling you once September hits it's a slippery slope and I am super busy, for whatever reason. That is why a lot of times I don't even get them put away until after New Year's.
I am really loving this new series that I have been working on. It has been so much fun and I just really encourage you to check it out on YouTube. It's called A Passion for Jesus. I don't know why, but it just seems like this series has been having people put up a brick wall. But what strange is that people who don't hardly watch my channel, have been interested in these videos. So I guess it appeals to those who need to hear it. I have been really enjoying trying to make music to go along with it. In my opinion my songs are so beautiful, and I know that Phil and my mom would also agree. I wish I could make a song for the action scene episode 2, but I think that would be very, very difficult for me. Oh well. I am happy that I can make the songs I am making, and so in the future they will definitely come in handy. I have to find a way to end the movie, and then I'll just feature my individual episodes like I've been doing now.
